Hello everyone!

Inspired by the thread in Civilization IV's forum where players would post memes in relation to the game which resulted in simple joys due to the way those memes actually relate with their experiences of playing Civilization IV, I want to try to replicate that same atmosphere in this thread. Probably it wouldn't be as actively crowded as the one in Civilization IV's forum, but I hope every meme that you guys and I bring to this thread could spread laughter among all the users in this Field of Glory: Empires' forum. That said, I'm going to post the first meme.

Lol, and your Dacian Heavy Infantries are already impatiently waiting in the forests for an ambush.

This is what made me really scared of even engaging in combat with one of Macedonia's armies when Macedonia has already conquered quite a huge chunk of the provinces just north of Thracia. My phalanxes and improved heavy infantries just weren't cut out for it. What I did was merely posting my Thracian warbands at the borders of the Thracia province with the hope of inflicting some small casualties on the Macedonia's armies even if my Thracian warbands were to be killed in the process.
