Upgrade to PC2 Field Marshall from General?

Greetings! I pre-purchased PC2 Generals edition back in February, way before the Field Marshall edition was even mentioned. Is there any way I can upgrade to the Field Marshall edition (on Steam preferably)? I didn't see any option to upgrade. You can only purchase it full price, which is no fair since I already paid full price once for the Generals edition. Thanks.

If you pre-ordered, you can't have General. Only Field Marshal existed at the time.
It's an error with Steam that says you only have the General edition.
So you shouldn't need to worry about this.

I don't want to open a topic, cause my "problem" is somehow related. I bought the base game on Steam and would like to - if possible - upgrade to the Generals edition. Is it possible or is it at least planned?

Great game btw...
That's a little different, and I'm surprised they don't have 'upgrade editions'. I dunno, this is entirely up to Slitherine (publisher) and any distributors (like Steam). Only they can answer you on this.

Kerensky: Thanks very much for your reply. I feel rather silly now. I went back and looked at my receipt from Steam and it says "Field Marshall" edition on the receipt. Don't know how I got it in my head I got the Generals edition.

There is a display error in steam, not your fault.
