I still have his books. Charles sure helped our tabletop miniature games gain in scope and popularity. I have let all of my hand painted armies go by the wayside over the years but I still remember painting, basing figures and building terrain for many hours. I built a 6'x8' table that extended out to 6'x12' (but I never needed the extra four feet) but I sure thought that it was a heck of an idea at the time! Reading books, chasing books, flag decals, terrain and of course figures from mail-order to every Hobby Shop I could find that carried anything at all to do with wargaming. I sure did have a lot of fun and made some good friends over the years.
