Hi

For those that have played the beta of PZC2 and also have OOB, how do you compare both games ?

I am more interested in gameplay differences, graphics are relatively secondary.

Thanks in advance

There are still a lot of differences, PzC 2 is still much closer to PzC 1 than OoB
It is a development and improvement or correction of ideas known from the first part (+ a lot of new ideas), all wrapped in decent 3d graphics

Well!...here goes... for myself... both of those Games are excellent... I personally enjoy them equally as much. They are similar in many respects... yet have some different playing styles, however PzCr2 has some additional various intricate innovations that make the difference between it and OoB... however you cant lose with either one or both... I suggest trying them both out!

PzC2 plays like a much more advanced Panzer Corps. Little lighter, little faster, more quick killing combat.
Order of Battle has slower, more methodical gameplay.

They all decent from grand daddy Panzer General of course, but there is enough divergent evolution that each game has its unique identity by this point.

As mentioned above, both games focus on different areas. I would like to highlight one big difference and that is naval combat. This is where OOB shines and Panzer Corps 2 is a letdown especially after we were told that the naval combat will be addressed in one of the earlier demos. I still think Panzer Corps 2 will be a great game, though. It's just a missed opportunity.
