Hi, I can't seem to update to the latest version, I have successfully downloaded and extracted the update file and installed it many times but each time
I have opened FoG, it has the old version number and asks me to update it. I have tried to use the in-game update option but it comes up with an error, is there
something else I can do or I am not doing?

The first picture below shows the extracted updated file ready to install, it does this but it comes up with the old version when opened.

The second is the error message when trying to update from the initial splash screen .

What is the filename of the file you downloaded? It should be FieldOfGloryII-UpdateComp-v1.5.25

If not, you have downloaded the wrong one.

If it is that and it isn't working for you, it may be that your firewall or anti-virus settings are preventing it from working.

Hi Richard, the file name is FieldOfGloryII-UpdateComp-v1.5.25 (pasted) which I think is correct, I will disable the firewall and virus can , just a thought, is it still compatible with windows 7 ?

That worked, I disabled the Firewall, installed it and it played,

I still use Windows 7, and can confirm that my FOG2 updated without any problem.

FoGII Requirements on Steam :
