What's going on ?
No update since 12th of DECEMBER (diplomacy beta)
It's end of February and still no updates or even news.
Has this game been abandoned ?

It hasn't, you've just been paying zero attention. If you had bothered to check the pinned threads, you would've seen that the beta has gone through two more iterations since December. The release of the new update is expected any day now.
