Slitherine

The Slitherine 1.04 patch is not updating the game properly.
The Steam version updates no problem & very fast.
I wonder if this is an issue created due to the, extremely, large (unnecessary?) size of the patch.

all patches are inclusive, so size is dependant also on the previous ones, did you install the patch by install as admin, with nothing in the background interfering, as no others have reported it as of yet by not working etc?

as i've seen a post about mods by yourself, maybe that's why it's not working for you?

maybe you have altered something which now means the base games isn't working?

only way to know for sure is a uninstall, and reinstall making sure all folders are clean and making a backup first of any saves etc, as the document folder needs to be cleaned as well, so back up unless you wish to lose a save etc

also already seen the post on steam, so developers are already aware on this one also

When ever I receive a new patch for any game, I never use any 'mods' or alterations of any kind...to ensure all is well.
I am, also, not the only Slitherine purchaser having this issue atm.
I have re-installed & deleted everything related to 'AE'.

i always recommend installing base games and updates as admin and then running the base game as admin afterwards to make sure it full is working, not using the admin part means, 3rd party programs and apps can block or stop parts from working, where as installing and running a game fully as admin means they can't block or stop a process from running as it's been designed to do, doesn't make a difference to most, but imo anyone with a issue isn't losing anything by trying, something i've done since day one.

only needs a given background app to be altered updated or working at the same time as the game, and anything can and does happen, a clean install of a O/S with less running means less issues, a older O/S gets more and more background apps and programs running on startup, so the chances of it happening is larger, not less like a newer one.

i only load things into my start up i need, so i have my AV and tbh that's about it, on some of my pc's i also have steam auto running, so 2 apps etc

Well, I did a complete re-install wipe of the game.
Installed & Patched everything via 'admin'.
The game on loading still shows 1.03 & the 1.04 features are not implemented.
One other Slitherine purchaser has this issue, also.
Would like to know how many there are.

I have not encountered this before with any Slitherine/Matrix products.
I hope I don't encounter this with 1.05.

btw, fairly new windows 10.

it may just be a error with the installer, but not had any updates or answer on this one, but i'm sure the production team / and developers will comment asap
