by pre-ordering the Field Marshal Edition you will be able to play Panzer Corps 2 before everybody else. From February 18th to 20th, every player who pre-ordered the Marshal Edition will get the chance to download Panzer Corps 2 and play it for 48 hour, until February 20th

I have seen the dates. But when on the 18th does it start...when does it end on the 20th?

another question would be does this 2 day trial allow players to play as much as they can, or are they restricted up to the end of the 1940 French campaign like the previewers?

I'm told that preview build will become available on 18th of February at 6PM GMT.
There are no limitations in the previous build. The entire campaign is playable.

Apologies for the duplicate post - but just in case someone needs it:
Just as a public service announcement:
It was well after 6 pm GMT here in Texas. Steam didn't show any way to install PC2. I shut Steam down, it updated itself, and then when I restarted it, the PC2 Install button showed up.
Just FYI in case I'm not the only one.

Not to be a wet blanket, but is there a reason for the decision to put the beta window in the middle of the week instead of a weekend when most people will actually be able to play?

Main reason is, during the week it is much easier for us to deliver technical support as well as to deploy hotfixes, if needed.

That makes sense. Thanks for the reply, and I look forward to trying the game out

Try to close all windows which you opened from Launcher (e. g. Manual)

This is very odd issue. So does Steam still tell you that the game is already running after reboot and reinstall?
