Lighting tip

Hey guys I've been experimenting with the Data > Lighting file with good results, because the default always seems to put the sun almost in front of us in Skirmishes, meaning the units and terrain graphics are in partial dull shadow.
Below is the default file, so I changed the two red-arrowed lines to
-1 -3 -2
to put the sun
behind my shoulder, and all the units and terrain colours are now much brighter..

Cool, might have to try that trick. Does it apply to single missions or all of them.

I think this depends a lot on your playing style. I tend to play with a view from the side, and so for me this mod actually makes things darker. If you play with a view from directly behind your units then it does make them noticeably brighter,

I play mostly random Skirmishes and it brings all the colours to life, but like Paul said it depends on personal preference, so just experiment by tweaking the numbers til you find what you like..)

This mod would affect all games.
