Military tech bonus?

I am getting Noric steel armor, Thoroughbred mounts and Reflex bows, but these items don't show up anywhere on the actual units that I can perceive. How do they show up?

I think your army has to visit the region those items are in. Possibly spend a turn there, I'm not sure.

as above, stack them in the region, you'll see the upgrade in the message log (set it to medium) or by opening the unit detail tab (you'll see the extra +1s for the relevant unit)

The units are made in the region with these improvements, so I guess that doesn't count? Will a unit in the region get all 3 improvements in one turn, or must it stay there for 3 turns?

you only get one, so heavy cavalry can get it from the horse master or the armourer and so on

You'll only upgrade 1 unit per turn. I usually detach the unit to upgrade, so my Army isn't stuck there.....
