Terrain - Gully ?

Has anyone got a some pictures of how you might model a gully ?

I dont have a picture but pretty good ones are easy with a few sheets of 2mm card and a stanley knife.

- decide the shape of your gully in total and trace it onto 4 pieces of card.
- cut the middle out of one so you end up with a gasket shaped band with a hole in the middle
- do another one with a slightly smaller hole
- do a third with an even smaller hole

glue them all together onto the fourth as a base piece.
paint and flock the lot
It will look like a depression with contour lines but will not be too thick at the edges to look odd.

Another way is to cut a single piece of card or whatever, paint it a dark colour, then spray a lighter colour around the edge so it fades out towards the middle.
