OK. Downloaded and installed.
I've started "Krieg Trilogy" for the fifth

time. AI seems more aggressive than before...is it intentional ?
Still I could not buy light tanks

like Pz I A or B or stug's B for the Fall Gelb

I've seen noncore '41 infantry in '40

Do you need Pz I tanks? Would be no prob to make it available in next version, IIRC earlier it was thought that nobody ever buys it as core...
Just curious, which 1940er scn has 1941er infantry?
Would have to check it, there might be a design reason behind it.

Yep I do
Panzers I are excellent in luring allied tanks into at traps

Panzers I are cheap. In addition Panzers I are excellent in pincer attacks

fast and cheap
Still I can't believe that there are paks 38 in Yugoslavia but there aren't any stugs in France

stug's B for the Fall Gelb
StuG B for Fall Gelb
Only 36 Ausf.As were produced by Daimler-Benz AG between January and May 1940. The first were delivered in September 1939 and the whole series completed in April 1940. The last six were based on the Panzer III Ausf.G chassis. However, due to numerous production faults, only four batteries (15 vehicles) were sent in France by May 1940. (

NP, I change it.

5cm Pak 38 entered service before 1941.

Great! Most appreciated

[Panzers I]
May you consider gebirgsjägers in Norway ?
"5cm Pak 38 entered service before 1941" don't agree, sorry. Paks 38 were used in large numbers after winter '41. Check the production please [Fleischer or Gander/Chamberlain or Haupt]
If you decided to introduce pak 38 early then why not the stugs ?
Is it possible to include "upgrade" of the SS Wiking to mot. or pz. gren. division [opels or sd.fkz.s] ?

There's also a 7.5cm Pak97/38, which is used after 41 only, but this is not identical with the earlier 5cm.

My point is that pak 38 weren't used is the significant numbers before '42. Not to mention Yugoslavia or Greece. Like Fw 190 not before '43.
pak 97/38 was 50/50 french upper part / german lower part

Pak 38 agree, this weapon started to replace 37mm Pak in autumn 1941
I have talked about it several times here to add about half a year (even up to 1 year) from the start of serial production, because it took so long to introduce new weapons to the front
But... don't agree with Fw 190, which started his service over the English Channel in the fall of 1941 and was a very difficult rival for the RAF throughout 1942, so I don't know where you got this 1943 from? (in 1943 Fw 190's career as Jabo began)

"I have talked about it several times here to add about half a year (even up to 1 year) from the start of serial production, because it took so long to introduce new weapons to the front"
100% agree
Fw 190 -> 50% agree (about the Western Front). But It's not a good idea to include Fw 190 in the Barbarossa. Me 109 F (then G) was the mainstay of the Luftwaffe in the East ('till 43).

I do not entirely agree, it is necessary to give the player some freedom to choose the opportune moment to introduce a new unit and not necessarily take into account historical data which sometimes it is difficult to check the accuracy.

Freedom for players - ok, but historical data are also quite easy to check, there are a lot of books and magazines, or even web...

I we start to base intro dates on use in a specific theatre or on a specific front only it will cause probs when we have content playing in another theatre.

When I was creating my historical mod for the game some time ago, I thoroughly checked the dates in the game with historical sources and I must say that there are no big differences or glaring errors in most cases.
I think about 70% of the content could remain as it is, and about 20% should be slightly corrected (1-6 months forward or backward).
I also think that the number and variety of units you have proposed is sufficient, or even there are too many of them sometimes
I think I would remove a few because they were not significant on an operational scale, because they were far too few (e.g. Sturer Emil) or should be recognized as already included into infantry or panzers or recon units (some models of light artillery), but Pz I would bring back to the game until the end of the campaign in France should be available to the player
Another thing is all the prototype weapons from the end of the war (mostly Japanese faction)... but that's it for a completely different discussion...

100% agree
My suggestions for the Blitzkrieg are:
gebirgsjägers earlier
Panzer I from the beginning
Do 17 to remove
Panzer III J to remove 'till '42
Fw 190 to remove 'till '42
pak 38 to remove 'till Moscow or '42
stug (after a consideration) late (Barbarossa 2)
Karl "the big mortar" to remove 'till Sevastopol
floating recons to remove forever
