Hi gents,

In custom campaigns, if you select Sicilians or Siracusans as your side, you can't fight against Gauls, they're not eligible in the lists. Seems like a bug.

Edit: it seems to happen the same if playing TT campaings

I don't know whether in history Gaul and Syracusan fought each other or not. If you choose Syracusan 280BC-211BC list, you can fight Galatian at least, who is Gaul.
By the way, if you indeed want to fight "Gaul", you can click "pick enemy army" botton, below the list, click geographical filter button. You can also click date filter button to uncheck date filter. Then you can fight any army you want as your opponent.

Hi Melm

Thanks for answering. But I always pick the enemy armies in custom campaigns, and always use the filter bottoms. The only "what-if" combinations not allowed by the engine are siracusan/sicilian vs Gauls afaik.

Edit: Melm, you're right, uncheking hte geographical button solved the problem. Sorry for the mess.

Syracuse and Gaul probably fail to overlap just barely since there's the entire Italy in between them. With the geographic filter turned off you can still play the custom campaign against them.
