How set the human side in editor?

Hey guys I've been trying to build scens in the BA2 editor with me as the human German player, but after I save and exit and start the battle, it always makes me the Russian player!
How can I make myself German?
(I've just posted this question in the BA2 forum but am also posting it here for good measure as I think the same scen creation procedures apply to BA1 too)
