If playing in a window in Windows10, how do you move the window? Clicking and dragging anywhere on the window doesn't seem to work.

I'm running P&S Campaigns 1.4.0

not all apps and programs support it and tbh this isn't a tech support question, it's more of a general windows one i'm sorry to say
Press Alt + Space shortcut keys together on the keyboard to open the window menu. Now, press M . The mouse cursor will move to the title bar of the window and turn into a cross with arrows: Use the left, right, up and down arrow keys to move your window

Code: Select all

Thanks for the response. Your suggested method allows the movement of every window I try it on except the Pike and Shot game window. When I select it and press alt+space no menu appears. There's something odd about it!

like i said, not all games and programs and apps work like it in windows 10,

you can if you wish to try, if you elevate the permissions and run as admin and see if that helps, but i'd guess it won't and will be locked to where ever the game and windows places it

P&S does not support a framed (moveable) window IIRC. Sorry!

Cheers

Thanks for the info. My main difficulty was getting to see the left hand side of the window as the window always appeared under my taskbar which is on the left of my screen. I find by switching the Windows taskbar to the right of the screen and then back to the left again the P&S window gets nudged to the right so that I can see all of it. A bit messy, but it works. :-)
