dear slitherine ,
I purchased this game this date . I have already owned the game as well as nearly all of the dlc's . I bought the gold edition under the impression the game engine was new as well as the dlc's were included . Was I mistaken ? I also am unable to play the allies . The first time I loaded the new game , I had options to play axis or allies . Since then, its strictly the axis . What am I doing wrong ?

Probably you have installed the old version.
Uninstall and make sure you are downloading the installer file for the Gold version.
