Not what it sounds like. As the Antigonids, it is turn 86 and I have more than 3x the Legacy of my nearest rival, Carthage. Shouldn't I get a win message?

Patch 1.04 changed Sudden Death to 100 (so the manual mentioning 50 turns is not correct).

"Sudden Death Victory (winning instantly by having the proper legacy ratio) needs now 100 turns before being evaluated, not 50."

Ie you need to hang on in there for 14 more turns

Yes, this was necessary to be sure the situation was appropriate, with low legacy for most nations in the early game, it was possible to snatch victory through a lucky event (like your contender issues an emergency levy, loses some legacy, and voila, you are 3x stronger than him).
