Elan/Experience

I have a question. Does the game mashing those values togather to determine unit "quality" make the single individual value pointless?

Does a unit having 200 Elan and 50 Experience behaves differently ingame than a unit with 125 Eland and 125 Experience?

I can’t think of special effects in this game ( other than the name convention, ie demoralized instead of below average if moral is lower than experience but have same overall “quality”)

However you could code it so it does. In fog 2 Phoenician Poeni infantry are average quality, but have high moral and low experience. They fight and make cohesion tests like average units but are “unmaneuverable” because there is script that causes units with experience under a certain value to lose the free turn when moving.
