Troop Type and Combat Capabilities

I'm curious if it's possible to mod the ingame effects of the various Troop Types and Combat Capabilities.
For example, what if I want Heavy Weapons to have +125 PoA in Melee or if I want Elephants to disorganize enemy infantry?
Is there a file I can modify to obtain that kind of changes?

These are all possible. Have you looked at the Modding Guide?

There is nothing in the guide about modifying what those things do ingame.

For the first you would need to mod the GetMeleePOA() function in CombatTools.BSF
For the second you would need to mod the PercentDisordered() function in CombatTools.BSF
