How do you exchange ranks within a battlegroup?

As an example, a mixed spear / bow battlegroup turns through 180 dgrees and now has bow to front and spear to rear - how does it bring spear to the front if it wants to keep facing in the new direction.

Or, If a lance / bow cavalry battlegroup in 2 ranks does a 90 degree turn it persumably ends up with 2 files of bow and 2 files of lance. How and when does to get back into sensible formation?

When turning you end up with the original front rank troops in the new front rank.

When a mixed battle group turns, its new front edge must, if possible, consist of the same base types as the old front edge. Bases are simply relocated to achieve this.
