Come on chaps. Organise a convoy to this one. Its only about an hour and a half's drive from Calais/Dunquerque.

A ferry crossing is not expensive. About £50 and that could be split a couple or 3 ways or even 4.
A room 15mins from the event is about 40 Euro's per night. Again it is possible to share that cost as well.

A nice bunch of chaps to play against and probably new blood you won't have played before.

A chance to practice before you all jet off to the USA.

I'm planning on travelling down, haven't finalised my plans yet and happy for a couple of passengers or co-ordinate with another car load going.

Drop a note to me if your interested.

cheers
Jim

I would'nt mind a trip to play, and the sharing travel costs sounds good as well. So if your up for it still count me in.

Hi Dave,

We just need to work out the logistics of it.

Who's coming from where. When to travel... Friday early evening or really early Sat morning. Dover Calais or Dover Dunquerque. Crossing times and how many nights accomadation. I have one other possible at the mo.
Can I suggest we meet up sometime over the weekend at Ascot and then we can see if we can make it work.

cheers
Jim

No probs. Yes I'm playing 15mm but not FoG. I tend to play DBMM in UK and FoG in Europe.

See you then.

Hi Jim ,

Happy to know that you plan to come at the Tournament of the " Nerviens "
this time I will play ( not Hidden behind my Umpire uniform  )
there will be players from Paris and around and some the south players plan to come in the north with "R... Air " from Cavaillon and Montpellier "
it will be a big Event ( with Cheap Beer and good local specialities of food "
I hope I will meet you there around a table ( I'll be in the Classical period with my newly painted Army of the Mid Republican Period )

Hi Gilles,

Still trying to decide what army. I might have to learn some new tactics as I cannot use the HYW English.

I was tempted to choose an army from Decline and Fall but I may join you in the classical period.

Hopefully some others will travel too.

cheers
Jim

I want the army lists :)

I need the lists at least one week before the tournament. I need also to know if you stay with us for Dinner on Saturday evening (Dinner together with the players + participative games).

My email : lionel.colin62@orange.fr

What I need urgently is to know in which tournament you would like to play (Antiquity or Dark Ages ?).

Regards
Lionel
Nota : "Warlords15" company will attend the tournament (specialist of 15 mm miniatures).

Lionel,

There will be 3 of us and include us all for dinner on the Saturday. I will let you know my preferred period on Monday, however if it makes it easier I am happy to play either if it helps both pools to an even number.

cheers
