Error message when trying to send private message

Hi
I keep getting error messages when I try to send private messages...see if this works! When I try again it says I cannot send another message too soon after the last one whatever that means. It's very frustrating so hope you can help me.

No same old thing...I get this
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions_messenger.php on line 506: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable
