In an effort to improve the content of this website I'd like Slitherine and the members to take on board a new concept.

Over at http://www.romanarmy.com/rat/index.php they have an award system in place which is totally driven by the members. Put quite simply, it's a thumbs up system. If they like an article written by another member they signify their approval by awarding kahma points. I currently have 27. They have deactivated the negative vote.

Take a look and report back your own thoughts on this idea.

Jasper, the webmaster, seems to think that it's not that hard for a phpbb to initiate.

I get the distinct impression that once it's set up, it runs itself.

Why don't you register over there and ask him?

Yes it would be automatic once set up, but it needs some programming on the forum to make it work and its not something we're experts at!

I got the impression he was going to send me something was waiting for it I will try and get round to it next week. It really depends what work is involved as Steve has lots of other stuff to do and I don't want to pull him off that for too long.

I'm setting up a forum of my own and was wondering if I could borrows some of your gifs?

If you mean the rank gifs, then ok.
