So, how do you "calculate" the accurate/exact amount of hexes for your scenario? (I'm going by if you have a picture for overlay (ctrl + T))

Because i'm confused by what Bru's saying:
bru888 wrote: It helps to have a map image with the same ratio of dimensions as the scenario map.
For example, a map image of 2000 x 1500 pixels (ratio 1.333 to 1) fits well over a
scenario map of 120 x 90 hexes (ratio 1.333 to 1). If this principle is followed, the editor
does a good job of superimposing the background map image over the scenario map.
Here’s an example of the editor with an Overlay Map Image on display (CTRL+T):
(That's in the scenario manual Bru typed, sorry for the confusion Bru if you were confused at all :!: , edit: you didn't really type it here is what i am saying and it does look like it hence quotes)

When I tried following that part, I just gave up and chose a random _x_ (hexes) for a scenario that's possibly scrapped now.

Another example. Lets say you have a template with 800 x 500 pixel resolution.
You would like to create a large map (max 120 hexes horizontally).

800/120 = 6.67
500/6.67 = 74.96

So this template would work fine in a 120 x 75 hex map.

Ah, got it. Thanks Erik.
