Where are Movement Points Shown For A Unit?

The manual refers to movement points for units but I don't see where they are shown - thank you

In addition to what terminator portrays above, you can show Movement Points on the game console itself by going to Options, Preferences, and clearing the checkbox for "Summarised Unit Stats." That option is on by default and MP's are not shown when it is:

Turning it off, however, allows MP's to be shown (as well as other previously hidden data). Note what it says about terrain affecting movement:

There is an online database called "Unit Navigator" at http://mfendek.byethost16.com/. It is unofficial but highly reliable and useful:

Clicking "Show terrain" reveals how many hexes the unit can travel in various terrains. Note, by the way, that 6 MP's does not equal 6 hexes. Even in open terrain, a unit on foot can move only 3 hexes; that is because foot soldiers require 2 MP's to enter each open terrain hex.

Just goes to show you how many stats are 'underneath the hood' in OOB.
