Huh? What are the "rolling eyes" for? At least you'll be finally able to drink some
real beer...
And not the watered down, tasteless "
whatever" they all call a "beer" abroad...
And pretzels... maybe I should visit the
south more often myself...

I know someone who was banned from the site and lives in Bavaria (Munich is the capital of Bavaria), do you know him by any "chance" ?

I am from Unterföhring - its the eastern suburb of Munich - but no problem to meet you inner city. Which one is banned - do you know his name ?

Erik seems to have started an interesting discussion with the opening comment. However, the topic was taking up valuable studio space, hence I moved it here.

@Erik: Congrats, you now have groupies. Sadly, none of them fit the ususal requirements (young, female, willing). But you can still trash your hotel room for rock star points.

My question was just out of curiosity.
In München, there is a well-known Bierstube(Hofbräuhaus) where a character who later became unfortunately famous made several speeches in 1920:

I know we are in the Order Of Battle section, a ww2 game but do you have to bring that up? As much as I like playing certain factions Germany, Soviet, Japanese I detest some of the 'leaders' at this period of time and the warcrimes connected to some of the various factions. Munchen is known for far more then being a place that a douche bag spoke in the 1920's and I think we should move on.

Indeed. Even if it's one and the same tavern, which is unlikely, this current manifestation is much more pleasant:

Let us talk of beer and good times. Yes, let us talk of many things: Of shoes and ships and sealing-wax, of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings.

Sorry to create all the commotion.
The rolling eyes related to the attempted coup. Bad taste on my part.
I love the city, been here several times the last 20 years.
My (Norwegian) wife got her education here and lived in M for 17 years before I met her.
