It would be helpful to be able to look at the map in such a way that one's Military Installations became apparent. This would be useful when, for example, one wished to build units of a particular type near a particular location. If you have conquered Gall, you might wish to build a fleet for the Atlantic and another fleet for the Mediterranean, and would like to see which Region on each coast would enable you to construct a Large Warship.

Me too, I also wish I can see region buildings directly on map (just like on the trade goods overlay, but with the buildings icons, instead of the goods icons). If the devs make a buildings overlay it would be so awesome, and you could also see the military buildings (icons in red) for each region directly on map, if that is what you need.

This could be a decent mean of having the info you seek indeed. No promise though!
