Amazing armies, very well executed indeed! I'm also very impressed by you terrain as I commented on in your AAR. The castle in particular is absolutely wonderful.
Good job, looking forward to the Zama report!

We are building Takeda's army ( Wind-Fire-Forest-Mountain divisions ) and Tokugawa Ieyasu's alliance: Ii, Oda Nobunaga, Honda Tadakatsu
Nice figures, and great period - my favourite actually.
Just one word of advice to the Takeda player - don't let Shingen die! Might increase your chances at Nagashino

That is lovely, Speaking as somebody who just swapped his unpainted 28mm Samurai Army as I couldn`t get the confidence to paint them well enough.

Guys, thanks for the nice comments
Ian, I will pass along your comments, and I think that the current Shingen agrees with you on Katsuyori's lack of temperance and patience

Lack of temperance? The guy was an idiot!
I guess it (and Napoleon's family) are proof that military brilliance isn't genetic

which makes me wonder HOW the Royal Families ever managed to 'survive'.

Wow! They look great! I did not know iI was allied to Toukagawa that early. Where did you get the castle? I have been doing my Samurai about 15 years later for the Imjin War and the 1600 campaign so a castle would work great for the siege that kept a lot of the Western army from the main battle.
I bow to your ablity to paint mon. If I cannot get a decal I cannot do that Diaymo. So my army does not line up as well as it should for 1600. But it looks like you may be the only one who would know. Perry and museum makes bamboo baracades for Nagashino. Now if I could figure out how to post my pictures of my Samurai....

I think there are many Takeda armies out there for exactly that reason. It's got to be one of the easier Mon's to do. All the mons in this army are superb though.
I
personally have a love of Oda, both from the history and their beautiful mon, but it's hardly the easiest mon to do.

I have to agree with you on that one.
And if I had not bought both of Perry's sets and given 2 more I would have made the army mor for Nagashino. Oh well live and learn. A neat trick I do is get VVVdecals in 15mm in white (or red) for the Ashigaru helmets and armor. Then get the 25mm size for the sashimo.
