How about columns following one another as a BL?

I know BGs in column, side by side, can't be moved as a BL through terrain, but what if you had two (or more) BGs one after the other, in columns?

(This all keeps leading back to devious Sertorius planning with that Spanish army!)(Imagine it...4paks of drilled MF...following one another through secret paths in forests and over that rough, difficult Spanish ground we're all so fond of!)

The army is up to 900 pts now for the upcoming HotLead game. That translates to 20Bgs (8 4paks of that MF!!) :):):)...to the hated Roman 13!!! (Armenian cataphracts are damned expensive!!).

Now...if it can all squeeze onto the battlefield!

Or maybe the final word in all of that was it is?...until a faq?...not sure...but it seemed to go against the intent of rules, so was going from there.

The issue on the original thread was whether such terrain columns get +1 MU. Not whether columns in terrain can move as a BL.

It seems reasonable that a number of BGs in one big column could get the +1 bonus. e.g marching down roads.
