[SOLVED] BUG: 1.04 Patch - No custom installation option
Posted: Sun Sep 29, 2019 12:18 pm
by uneducated
The 1.04 patch failed to detect that the game was not installed into the default directory. There seemed to be no option to change the installation directory of the game.
After the 1.04 patch was run, the game remained at its previous version, in the custom installation folder. On running the patch again, it reported that the game was already at the latest version, though it had not in fact been updated.
Being unable to update the game prevents you from continuing with multi-player campaigns in progress.

Better report that to
support@slitherine.co.uk, if this is widespread then they will tell the team in charge.

This issue was resolved by uninstalling then reinstalling the game to the desired custom installation folder, as suggested. Thanks for the help!
