Update button on Pike and Shot won't work

None of the ways to update the game seem to be working!! What is the fix for that. Can they send out a hard copy update along with this version I bought? 
login to the members area, the same post takes about how to do it on one site, but the same works here, login and then download the version or update your after

if you install any game as install as admin and run the game as admin, it works, if you don't, then it depends on what firewall you have as some give permissions some don't, it's that simple, but if you always install and run as admin, it sets up the correct files permissions to run and work and download updates automatically as long as you don't a realyl poor firewall setup
