Recruitment has opened for Season 6 of the FOG2 Digital League. We are always on the look out for reliable new players. If you are interested please read the invitation for new players below . . .
Hello,
I am inviting you to join the Field of Glory 2 Digital League 2 (abbreviated as FOG2DL) for Season 6, which begins on Tuesday October 1st and runs until Sunday December 15th.
The first thing to be aware of is that the FOG2DL is not an automated tournament and that you will need to own at least some of the DLC’s to be able to enter its various sections. It also means that you will be required to arrange your own matches at a reasonable pace so that everything is completed by the time the tournament closes. There are Time Control checks after 3 and 5 weeks and very slow players may be excluded from one or more divisions and reserves brought in to replace them. It is expected that players will complete all their scheduled matches, so it is important that you do not take on too many matches at the start. Each section (except for the Themed Event) that you enter requires you to play 9 matches in the 10 weeks (and a few extra days) allowed for the tournament. So entering two sections (which I would recommend in your first season) will require you to play in a total of 18 matches.
New players will usually start in the lowest division of a section, unless they have done particularly well in one of Slitherine’s automated tournaments. Slitherine sponsors the FOG2DL and offers a number of $25 prizes for the most successful players each season across all levels of the tournament.
A full results and tables service is provided throughout the tournament and at the end a comprehensive range of player and army statistics are published on the forum.

I hope you will sign up for Season 6 of the FOG2DL.
