Can I create a password protected multiplayer game to allow my friend only to connect to it?

Not currently, no. But with the amount of games going on now, you can easily coordinate with your friend to enter your map.

Hopefully that feature can be added in an update.

Also, hopefully, this will become a needed feature with many games going ...
