"Could not create unistall data folder: /Uninstall" error message

I'm having a problem updating Field of Glory II. I've downloaded the FieldOfGloryII-UpdateComp-v1.5.18 Compressed (zipped) Folder.

When I open it and run the installer it asks me to pick a program to install and the original game and all of the DLC that I own along with the corresponding serial numbers are shown. Choosing either the base game or leaving the field blank allows me to proceed. However, once the process is started and the loading bar graphic begins, I quickly get an error message that says "Could not create uninstall data folder: \Unistall"

Can you please help me out?

As I don't know the immediate answer to your issue (although it is likely to be something to do with file permissions on your system) I have drawn this to the attention of technical support. You could also email them yourself on support@slitherine.co.uk

Try installing the update with Windows running in safe mode:

1. Reboot Windows in Safe mode
2. Install the update
3. Reboot Windows

Try running the installer file as admin.

That didn't work either. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Then ran the update. That worked. Thanks anyways for your suggestions.
