Slitherine

When I searching for Byzantine Games, the company who bring us this amazing game, on Google, I essentially get no actual information. There is no any offcial website of Byzantine Games on the search result. And when I click the link "Byzantine Games" in the Developer section of the Steam store page, it weirdly lead me to the Steam developer page of Slitherine instead of Byzantine Games.

Anyone knows more information of Byzantine Games? History of this company? Is there an offcial website?

There is no Byzantine Games website, as all our games are published by Slitherine, who give us ample coverage on their sites. We prefer to devote our full attention to developing the games.

Just FYI it's a limited company to essentially deal with UK tax law and employees.

So as RBS says no need for a company website as Slytherine's Web site is all that is needed for the games.

Imho it is a pity for the potential players and Slitherine/Byzantine Games that, when you click on "Byzantine Games" in the Steam store page, you don't have access to the only (four atm) games developed by Byzantine Games.

Strange. When I click on Byzantine Games on the STEAM I see this:

I get the same list of all the games, just checked...

I've just checked it. It works with FoG2: Medieval you are right, but when you're on the Steam page of FoG2: Ancient, P&S or SJ, if you click on Byzantine Games, you see the Slitherine page :


I guess I did the test before playing FoG2:Medieval. Sorry I should have mentioned it at that time.

Aargh, they seem to have reverted. I will get them to have another try.

It has been fixed again now, but whether it will stay fixed we will have to see. (STEAM works in mysterious ways)

Please let us know if it reverts again.

Unfortunately, if I am not mistaken, the links to Byzantine Games of SJ, P&S and FoG2: Ancients still go to the Slitherine page tonight.

All 4 game's store pages send me to the Slitherine page

When on the Slitherine page, I randomly clicked on many games from different developers working with Slitherine to go to their Store pages, then I clicked on the links 'Developer'. Each time, it sent me to the Slitherine page. So it seems to be a norm or a general mistake.

Right, I think we will need to go back to STEAM and ask what in tarnation is going on.

The links to Byzantine Games from SJ, PS and FoG2:A work right now.
The link from the store page of FOG2:M is so slow on my PC that it seems to freeze halfway.
