Is there a single cause, or more than one cause, for this sort of in-game message:

"Macedonia is unable to maintain its logistics and 5 units report degraded weapons and armour"

Any info/tips gratefully recieved!

Check the build screen for each unit - you require more than just money to maintain units, depending on what they are. Plus they need food, which is taken out of the region where they are situated, and/or one next to it.

Thanks Vakarr. I was keeping an eye on the food supply levels but managed to miss out on the other factors. It's the first time I've got stuck in to a game of this complexity!

Greatly increasing the metal production for my state solved the problem... Now happily walloping rebels with my well-equipped armies!
