I am somewhat confused. The stem version of Red Star DLC appears to for both Mac and PC. Is this true of the Slitherine store version (which is only labelled as PC) or are we still waiting for a mac version?

If I buy the PC version from Slitherine will the serial number provided work on the Mac version of 8.1.0

Yes, the serial number will work. Just update with the last patch:
