After website change FOG2 won't launch Steam edition (after the Script problem was fixed)

Strange, I am not getting this. Does this actually prevent the game from launching when you click the Play Game button?

I have reported this new issue to the IT department - who are still working on ironing out the glitches caused by the switch to the new website.

Yes prevents launch in FOG2 and Empires trying to access FOG2.

IT are working on it.

Will launch now but ONLY when "Run as administer mode" is unchecked. Strange since all other games and Matrix Steam games run in administer mode without issues.

I agree it is strange.

Glad you managed to get it working. We were able to reproduce the visible error in the left-hand window, but not issue with the Play Game button not working.

Not trying to be difficult but I would like FOG2 to play under Admistrator as I do with all my games. It's a feature I like and wonder why FOG2 is the ONLY game I have that won't let me play under Admistrator. ????

I am not technical enough to answer that. I misunderstood your post, and thought you said that you had had to run it as administrator to make it work. As far as I know others have run the game as administrator. I recommend that you email support@slitherine.co.uk for further technical help.

Why would you want to run a game as administrator? We go to great lengths to try and aid in keeping your system secure by NOT requiring that you run as administrator

Which EXE requires you to click off the Admin toggle? The launcher or the game EXE?
