Slitherine

I have not been able to download any updates since Version 7.1.4.
I am using a Mac with latest OS but that is not the problem.
While I have every add on for the game, both Sitherine and Matrix will not allow me to d/l the updates. I get a message on matrix member area that I am not eligible and on Slitherine I don't even see the option for either Mac or PC to do a version update.
I downloaded the free version years ago and never received a serial number but as the game still works I just occasionally check with the fond hope I can update to the newer versions but with a new add-on coming out in days it has now has increased important.

Thank you for a great game that I hope I will be able to continue to enjoy as it progresses.

if any of the games / DLC's have been registered to your account, the one you login with now, you should be able to grab the latest version from the members area, if you can't, you have an error with your account and will need do have that sorted first

once that's sorted, retry, if that still doesn't work, contact support and they will find out why it doesn't work for you, while it does for everyone else etc

most problems are install issues, eg not installing as admin and or running as admin, which always sets up the right permissions, unless you use a really rubbish firewall and AV setup and then would need to manual let the game through, normally this is like the rubbish ones avast, AVG and that type, useless and free, the one that comes with windows 10, while free works better than all the free ones put together, then again most only stick with what they know, never mind how hard or how many game errors it gives

MesaDon I'm PC not Mac, and perhaps the Mac updating procedure is slightly different, but here's the OOB update timeline-
7.1.4 is the free base game version from Matrix.
7.1.6 was the first update and works fine.
7.1.8 is a more recent update but the graphics are messed up.
8.0.4 is the forthcoming update which promises to fix the graphics.

So at the moment the only update you want is 7.1.6, so concentrate on only trying to download that one..

PS- you might also want to click "Check for update" at the bottom right of the game's opening screen (below) to see if anything happens-

Zacblood really I have been on Slitherine 5 years anger then you and I have Slitherine and Matrix account unified from the merger of the companies. Account is not the problem as all the add-on are propery registered and shows that. But I thank you for the support link with the hope that will work. Or maybe someone from the company will respond like they used to quickly when the company was smaller ... miss those days.

Yes I've thought for quite a while that the Matrix site is too big and sprawling with too much "discontinued" dead wood in it and it needs streamlining and tidying up.
PS- I still can't figger out why there are two sites for the same products, Matrix AND Sltherine.
