How to prevent an objective from being reversed?

Just in save some other poor rat from working on this issue for MANY hours -- this updates my previous post, in which I exhibit despair in public.

To create triggers in which a force takes an objective, on any turn, and to get credit (objective checked as Completed) even if the enemy takes it back.

How does one go about ensuring that the Objective remains checked after it is recaptured later?

Ok, figured it out, after reading some posts by Adherbal. The way to do it is to add an effect to disable the trigger for the enemy (reciprocal) objective. It's NOT OBVIOUS how to disable a trigger because there is no Disable Trigger function like there is a Disable Objective button. All you do is klik the Enable button off to make it dark to disable the trigger. Krikey, this gets difficult!

Yeah, it's always a good idea to load some stock scens with the editor and see how it's done "properly". Some trigger combinations are used quite creatively and may open your eyes for some new possibilities in scen design.

I couldn't remember one so I had to figure it out. So simple once you realize the trick. Figuring it out burns it in, but I did not need the 20+ hours of grief!
I took your hints (complaints) about Anzio scenario. Fewer aircraft on the beach more fun, but moving back the counterattacks makes it harder!

I'll post in a few minutes.

thanks!
