where is it possible to change the values of the difficulty settings?
i'd like to remove the advantages of the ai on the "balanced" difficulty level.

...and maybe add some positive decadence modifiers for the human player

I am still waiting for an answer to this question. Of course, the 'devs' may not want to reveal this.

I’m sure you can mod most parts of the game but think you need to be more specific. What advantages do you want to remove? Have you explored the file structure and tried to find what you need to edit? People tend to get more help from modders if they make an effort and not just expect everything delivered for them.

I am, fairly, competent at modding. I have searched extensively for the file/files in question.
Which, btw, is a very appropriate question for this section of the forums.
I have found these 'moddable game files' to be a little more difficult to navigate as opposed to many other games' 'moddable game files'.
Much to learn & any help is always appreciated.
