Hello, was playing a game as Picts and when i formed Caledonia at first the Provincial Unit was a heavy infantry Pictish Warband (prov) but later in the game when i went to recruit more it changed to reg infantry Caledonian Warband (prov).

I also had progressed my civilization level in between so i was wondering if provincial units are change based off civ level?

As a side note my original capital was the province of Caledonia but when i conquered the province Coritania it immediately switched that to my new capital even though it was pop 2 and less food/culture then my original capital

Indeed, a few provinces don't provide the same unit depending of your civilization level. The one you cite provide warband initially but then it provides Pictish Spearmen.

There is a bug we will fix on capitals moved with their own volition, sorry about that. We will try to put a new patch decently fast though.
