Playing as Dacia, after many years of glorious struggle, I was able to reform the Tribe into THE GLORIOUS TRIBAL CONFEDERATION OF DACIA. Thank you everybody! Unfortunately the very next turn, my decadence went from 266 to 450. We threw a wicked party and my memory blacked out at some point but still a gain of 184 decadence seems excessive. Dacia was at peace for the first time in 30 years or so and the message board shows nothing but standard admin messages except for the formation of the Tribal Conferation. So is it normal to have this huge a jump in decadence when converting from Tribe to Tribal Confederation???? Or possibly a bug? Any ideas?

Probably would want to read the manual if you want a detailed info on how/why. Noting if you fail to get to the next tier of civilization you drop down to old ____ which keeps the age part of decadence and the nation gets hit with negative modifiers. So dont leave the standard age unless your ready to throw resources at culture

Actually there is nothing that rings my bell about a sudden jump in decadence from changing civilization level, ** if all others things are equal **. If you don't get a crappy ruler, lose provinces, lose objectives, change some modifiers, etc. I don't see why...
