Following on from last year's successful launch of the three game 650 point format there will be a FoG tournament at this year's Games Expo.

Three 2 1/2 hour games
650 points
5 by 3 table
Any published list

Entries via the games expo site http://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/fog.php

Lists to me: hammy@the-riverbank.net

There should be space for at least 32 entries, last year we had 16 players, let's try for more this year.

Just a reminder that the booking system for this event is now up and running.

http://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk

I have had a number of enquiries from people who didn't attend last year so with a bit of luck we will have a significantly bigger comp this year than last.

There were 16 players last year, I am pretty sure we have space for 32 but if you want to be sure of a place book sooner rather than later.

Get your entries in ASAP, there are only 8 places left in the initial 16 we have been allocated. When we fill them I will argue for more as at the moment there are no entries for DBMM.

Do you need to buy a show ticket as well? Can't recall from last year :?

Hammy....just booked two places, for myself, Martin Hayes and for Roger Draper. We enjoyed it a lot last year and look forward to the event. For others, accommodation-wise it appears the big hotel next door is full already but there are plenty others nearby.

Hope the event can expand the 32 places you're after!

Hi Hammy

I've signed up for the Saturday and plan on staying over on the Friday night if anyone wants to meet up so I'm not on my lonesome.

I hope I do better than my 48th of 48 in my last tournament.

I hope to see you across the battlefield Dave.

Right Rob not taking swiss this time so no chasing your romans around the table again :) . I'm staying over friday don't know what hotel have you made plans on one yet. If we could stay in the same one we could tell each other our stories from Challenge( while drinking some fine ale or even wine you never know) and the recent Northern doubles that i ended up at the bottom 12th out of 12 a record for me if i say so myself :( . Get in touch about the hotel if you fancy staying in the same hotel i have a feeling booking early would be good. :)

Don't worry Dave as I won't be taking my Romans or the disappointing Teutonics either.

I haven't made plans on a hotel yet but if you drop me details of yours I will give them a call and check out availability.

A couple of bottles of budweiser would go down well, yep not a seasoned drinker. I'm hoping we will chat more about the glories to come. :P

There are only 3 places left at present but as there are still no bookings for DBMM I might well be able to persuade the organisers to let us have more.
