Resurgence of the Follow-up moves?

They seem to be taking place more frequently again, after a push-back and by superior troops.

The code for pushbacks/follow up has not changed.
Can you describe in a bit more detail what you see happening that you think might not be working as intended.

I’ve done a couple of test battles in both versions and it would seem that it was just my imagination.
Push backs occur in the release version about as much as in 5.5,15
