i've started playing Panzer Corps again and the search feature which worked fine for years now always times me out making it useless. i posted this in the General Discussion on July 5 but haven't had any response so I thought I'd try here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what are you searching for? maybe a better question, as forum searchers are more about key words etc and searching the right part
click on the button at the side of the search button and then go advanced and see if that's any better, as will more options, there's less stuff to check so a small amount of hits etc

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using the same words that I used in the past which always worked. I have gone to advanced search and I'm having better luck there. However, even that has issues. For example, a topic will put up many pages. Most of them will load but then there is a page in the string that will always time out no matter how many times I try it.

you may have found a bug in the system if a key word causes it to hang etc, if they can replicate it, then i'd guess they can fix it

Thanks again. I know that there have a couple of times on the Matrix Forum where there were posts about the Slitherine Forum being slow. Perhaps this is a residual of those times.

Zakblood,
I tried the normal search again a couple of minutes ago just to see what happened and it worked! I tried for days to use it and was always timed out. Perhaps something was fixed since it works now. I wish that I had tried it today before posting this. You have been so helpful.

I can confirm the problem to some extent, the forum search leads to time outs fairly often by now... sometimes it's easier to go through google...
