Peartree services ,just off the A34 are at most half a mile from the venue, there is a travellodge and Holiday Inn on the site ,You would still need to drive as its the main rd from the A34 to Oxford and the A40.
Speaking of driving parking will be an issue ,there is no carpark just the street around the area,so either come early or multiple people in one car would be good

Sending entries for tournaments is actually a good plan if you intend playing ;)

More seriously if you want to play get your entries in ASAP.

Andy McKay confirmed last night that he can play. The Roger Greenwood and Andy McKay entry will be in as soon as I get time to fill it in and post it.

Just over 2 weeks to go and as at last night Andy only had 7 lists to check, considerably less than half, time to get a move on

Well if you were playing in the FoW tournament you would be penalised points. I suspect that we might just get Andy to punch you instead or some other suitable punishment ;)

some other suitable punishment
A spanking?

Some would not consider that punishment

Given how tight for space we will be in the hall,to do with numbers not size of hall(in this case it does matter)you could be forced to play in the back room with Hammy on the next table :D

Hey, it's not my fault

David wouldn't let there be an FoW comp at Oxford last year but we moved to a bigger venue for this year. There is space for (according to David) 25 tables but us greedy FoW types use more tables than the nice meek FoG types. The last list I saw had 22 tables required for the comp and there are still chances for extra entries
