Caesar at Hastings

So I listened to another of Dan Carlin's great podcats, this time one titled 'Caesar at Hastings'. I was confused at first but he breaks into a great show talking about hypothetical anachronistic battles with some commentary in his time playing tabletop wargames.

Made me think how awesome it is FoGII allows these anachronistic battles in the 'Custom Battles' feature.
For fun I decided to take on Dan's given scenario, Julius Caesar's Roman Army vs William the Conqueror's Norman army. I couldn't quite use the Battle of Hastings-era Normans but close enough.
I played as the Normans and managed to come away with a victory, on normal difficulty anyway. The Armoured Lancers were definitely a key to victory.
Can't wait for more Medieval era DLCs!
