What figures would be appropriate for the Elephants in the following armies ? Would they be Indian (i.e. Elephant figures for a Classical Indian army rather than the Indian as opposed to African elephants) or successor types elephants ?
Graeco- Bactrian
Indo-Greek
Indo-Kushan

Graeco Bactrian would be successor types (from a coin I believe), the Indo Kushan "true" Indian due to lack of any other evidence and their coinage and carvings showing Kings as cavalry types and warriors as steppe horsemen. Indo Greek could probably be either or both as it was part of the Bactrian kingdom originally.
My two armies are Graeco Bactrian and Indo Skythian....therefore I have an active interest so if anyone knows different feel free to blow me out of the water!!!

FWIW I agree. I was planning on using my Indian-style elephants in my Indo-Greek army as a morph from my Classical Indian.

Cheers,
