Game not responding if idle for long time

This happened to me several times when I am at the MP interface. If I don't close the game but leave it at the MP, it will become non-responding, perhaps for an hour time. And also I may not be able to kill the process as the access is denied. Hopefully this issue could be looked at.

After a while AFK in an MP game the game pauses to prevent the non-action from being recorded in the replay. I think there should be a way of unlocking it, but I have forgotten what it is.

I will ask Pip. In the meantime, if you have to go AFK during an MP game turn, I suggest you Save and Exit the battle.

Did you try hitting ESC?

What you've said is one case which I encountered before, but what I said is that I am not in the game but in MP lobby for long time and then the game freezes.

I see. Well in that case we will have to see what Pip says.

Have you checked if any of your Internet security programs (Anti-virus, firewall, etc.) isn't interfering with the game?

I installed no other programs but windows defender.

I will see if I can repeat the issue.
